As a child I drew most all the time before dedicating myself to ballet. I traveled quite a lot. Childhood in Scandinavia, a dancer in New York and Paris. Mother of a son and four daughters – it is my most beautiful task in life. Family life in France, Sweden and Japan.
Artist in Florence and Paris.
I have had the chance to live my passion amongst outstanding dancers, choreographers, scenographs, musicians, singers and stage directors.
Formed as a dancer at SAB Balanchine and Margaret Craske in New York and Golovine in Paris. I have danced on the fascinating stages of Opera de Paris, Opera de Stockholm, New York City Theatre and Theatre de la Reine in Versailles.
These artists connected to the Living Performances has left a memory of a luminous artificial univers were talent, dedication and hard work made the illusions almost real.
“Some delicious moments of rest – for my overworked body and tickled nerves before each performance – were to have a costume fitting. Rigid sparkeling tutus or fluide sheer tuniques, sewn in precious materials by dedicated and talented seamstresses.“
I was happy when the ballet required a flower wreath, securely pinned to my ballerina chignon so not to fly away during pirouettes. It is these modest flowers that stirred the desire in me to become an artificial flower maker although I love real flowers.
